My candidacy for the Nobel Peace Prize 2025 was officially proposed by you in January 2025, in your capacity as Rector of the European University Brčko, Professor of Law and Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA).

In recognition of your work in support of peace, education and academic cooperation in Europe, I, as Prof. Panagopoulos, have also submitted a nomination in your name for the same award.

My nomination is based on my many years of contribution to peace, in particular:

the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina,

the war in Ukraine and

the current conflict in Palestine,

as well as my more general action in support of dialogue between cultures and religions, peaceful conflict resolution and humanitarian diplomacy.
